Cadbury World

Cadbury World is the place to learn how your favourite confectionery is made, play in chocolate rain and create your own delicious taste sensation covered in warm liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk. Cadbury World currently has 14 zones which tell the story of chocolate and the Cadbury business through animatronics, videos, multi-sensory cinema, interactive displays and activities, and staff demonstrations.

Think Tank - Birmingham's Science Museum

Think Tank - Birmingham's Science Museum is an interactive science and discovery centre. This exciting museum has over 200 hands-on displays spread over 4 floors on science and technology including a state-of-the-art Planetarium and outdoor Science Garden. The centre also has a giant cinema screen.

National Sealife Centre

The National Sealife Centre has over 1000 creatures on display. The centre has a 4D cinema, feeding demos and they try to involve visitors with an ' interactive rock pool’ where some of the creatures are very carefully handled. The centre also has a Nemo Kingdom and a turtle breeding program. One of the main features is a 1 million litre tropical tank.

Dudley Zoological Gardens

 Dudley Zoological Gardens is not only home to a large collection of endangered species, but also an 11th century castle. The zoo has a number of areas where you can walk amongst free-roaming animals such as Lemurs, monkeys and Wallabies. There is a daily birds of prey display and a schedule of talks throughout the day. As you can see from their map it has lots to offer and is a great day out.

Black Country Living Museum

Black Country Living Museum is an open-air museum that brings Britain's Industrial Heritage to life. They have created a village and filled it with charismatic residents to chat with, trams to ride, games to play, stories to hear and watch while things are made.

Dudley Canal Trust

Dudley Canal Trust is a place where you can discover a fantastic hidden world. The canal boat trip will show you some of the incredible history of the area dating back as far as 420 million years. The journey will feature some fascinating insights into what made our world what it is today, with limestone caverns, archaeological discoveries, fantastic feats of engineering and how economics and society have all played an important part in where we are today. Trips last for about 45 minutes.

National MotorCycle Museum

After the fire


The National Motorcycle Museum is recognised as the finest and largest motorcycle museum in the world. You can follow the progress and development of motorcycles through the years, and view some of the machines that made British motor bikes enjoy a golden era. The museum was destroyed by fire in 2004 and a 20 million rebuild and the restoration of hundreds of bikes has put the museum firmly back on the map.

Birmingham NEC (National Exhibition Centre)

The NEC has a full program of events throughout the year. It is a large exhibition and conference centre and there is almost certainly something of interest to you at some point through the year.
