The littlest ones can enjoy the magical worlds of Nurseryland, Fairyland and Dinosaurland. For older ones (up to about 11) there are activities such as a giant hedge maze, real life snakes and ladders (steps and slides), hall of mirrors, roller coaster, log plume, animatronics displays, crooked house, etc, etc.

Robin Hill Adventure Park

Robin Hill adventure park is set in 88 acres of beautiful countryside and has a fantastic blend of rides, adventure play area, 4D cinema, toboggan run, woodland gardens, ponds, sculpture trail, swinging galleon, canopy skywalk, falconry displays, giant maze, tractor rides, wobbly troll bridges and much more. The park continues to be developed and plans are in place for lots of tree houses to be built.

A chine is a local word for a stream cutting back into a soft cliff. Shanklin Chine is a wooded coastal ravine that contains waterfalls, trees and lush vegetation, with footpaths and walkways allowing paid access for visitors, and a heritage centre explaining its history. Shanklin Chine is loved for its unique tranquility and beauty and is the Isle of Wights oldest tourist attraction. The sheltered leafy woodland, with its steep sides is a magical place with rare plants, abundant wildlife, enchanting waterfalls and is loved by poets, artists and writers

Needles Park

Needles Park at Alum Bay is a great fun day out for all the family. The Needles Park offers a range of attractions including the spectacular chairlift to the beach to see the Needles Rocks and lighthouse and the world famous coloured sand cliffs.

At Alum Bay Glass visitors can watch the art of glass blowing where craftsman make a variety of items. At the Isle of Wight Sweet Manufactory you can watch sweets being made. There are a handful of children's rides including a traditional Carousel, Tea Cup ride, Victorian Swing Boats, a car track with vintage Cars, a 9 hole dinosaur themed adventure golf and a games kiosk.

Every Thursday in August the Park stays open late for 'Magic in the Skies', a spectacular firework finale to end the day. Please check times etc before setting off.

Tapnell Farm Park

Seaview Wildlife Encounter closed recently and a number of animals have transferred to Tapnell Farm Park which opens Spring 2016.

The park has an indoor playbarn, jumping pillow, adventure activities, zorb balls, archery, mountain boards and a restaurant.

The park also has safari tents, cabins, eco pods and farm cottages if you decide to stay. Booking essential.

This is one place on the island that needs support. The community has taken control as the previous owners let the building deteriorate. The picture above is from the good days. The more people that visit the greater the chance of it becoming a star attraction again and a great resource for the community.
