Warwick Castle

Warwick Castle is brought to life with dramatic shows, interactive experiences, storytelling, demonstrations, activities and more. You will see great halls, dungeons and high towers. Outside the castle is set in a beautiful Capability Brown landscape.

The castle does offer accommodation for those who have always wanted to spend the night in a fairy tale castle. There are two magnificent Tower suites with packages starting at a Grimm £550. New for 2016 are woodland lodges and Mediaeval Glamping, much more afordable accomodation.


Shakespeare Country

Shakespeares birthplace

Shakespeares birthplace is a fascinating house that offers a glimpse into Shakespeare's early world. Well-known visitors to the house have included Charles Dickens, John Keats, Walter Scott and Thomas Hardy.

Anne Hathaway's Cottage

Twycross Zoo

Twycross Zoo has over 1,000 animals including Orangutans, Elephants, lizards, birds, snakes and creepy crawlies. Over the last six years, visitors to the Zoo will have noticed special immersion exhibits that give visitors the opportunity to experience different parts of the world and see the animals in their natural habitat. The new exhibits include: The South American Tropical House, the Borneo Longhouse, the elephant walkway over the bathing pool, and a new 300 seater restaurant 'Himalaya'.

Coventry Transport Museum

Coventry Transport Museum has been designated as a collection of national importance. The museum has over 240 cars, commercial vehicles and buses, 94 motorcycles, 200 cycles, 25,000 models and around 1 million archive and ephemera items. Entry to the museum is Free.

Warwick Racecourse

Warwick Racecourse races 12 months of the year with 21 fixtures under both codes of Flat and Jumps. Many of Warwick's fixtures are on weekends, bank holidays and evenings making it easier to get together with family, friends and colleagues and have a great day out.

Coventry Skydome

Coventry Skydome is a 3,000-seat multi-purpose arena. It is used for public ice skating sessions, ice skating lessons, ice hockey, concerts and various other events. The building is a multi-activity building and is also home to a night club, restaurants, cinema, bar and gym.

The Battlefield Railway Line

The Battlefield Line Railway, Steam Gala, October 25th,2015

The Railway Society operates the line from Shackerstone Station, via Market Bosworth, to Shenton, the site of the famous medieval Battle of Bosworth in 1485. The Battlefield line trains can be hired for private, public and corporate events, and have been used for birthday parties, wedding receptions, disco's, and fancy dress parties. It is possible to arrange to become an engine driver. Shackerstone Station is the headquarters of the railway with Museum, tea room, shop, loco shed and main rolling stock located here.
